Journalism represents a huge part of my professional identity. I have worked for the Serbian daily Blic, first as a city reporter, and during the last seven years as a political reporter. One of my first milestone assignments was reporting from the mass protest against the authoritarian regime of Slobodan Milosevic. And, for the record, yes, being exposed to tear gas in a mass rally was one of the most unpleasant experiences that I have had!
My long-term print journalism career has encouraged me to get engaged in taking photos, online writing, and in multiplatform journalism overall. I have always considered myself a "word" person. However, after I made my first video, I fell in love with digital storytelling.
